Care Instructions
You’ve made something beautiful for your home, a piece that carries your creativity, your time and the tradition of Indian block printing. With a little extra care, you can help preserve its colour and character for years to come.
Hand-printed textiles are unique, and slight variations in print and colour are part of their charm. To keep your creations looking their best, follow these care instructions.
English
- Curing: Allow the print to dry for 72 hours. Once dry, iron on high heat without steam. Iron either from the back or with another piece of fabric placed over the design. Never iron directly on the print. The heat cures and sets the colour into the fabric.
- Washing: Wash on a cold cycle, maximum 30°C. Use a mild detergent to help preserve the colour. Wash your piece separately, as colour may bleed during initial washes.
- Drying: Hang to dry away from direct sunlight to keep the print looking its best. This helps protect colours and keeps your print looking its best for longer.
- Fabric: You’re printing on unwashed organic cotton, so the fabric is expected to shrink by a few centimetres.
Dansk
- Hærdning: Lad trykket tørre i 72 timer.
